COVID-19

We have been providing private hire and chauffeur services safely throughout the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Our teams are continually revising and refining our safety protocols throughout out service. As safety is foremost at Station Executive, we have followed the new DFT guidance to the letter. We have also added some important amendments, which we believe will make all our chauffeur-driven service safer.

Our agile company structure has allowed us to adapt quickly to the pandemic. Most of our office team can work from home. Our chauffeurs have risen to the new challenges and exceeded our expectations. Thanks to their efforts, and extra attentiveness, our levels of service have not been affected. We are always feeding their recommendations and suggestions back into our operational procedures, such as working together to make sure that all have masks, hand sanitiser, tissues, and other essential items.

Social Distancing & Sanitisation

Social distancing in England means that we observe the two metre (6 feet) minimum distance between people rule. During the pandemic, will not shake passengers’ hands. Instead, a gentle nod, a warm hello, will serve to suffice for the meet and greet whilst wearing a face covering. We mandate face masks for chauffeurs, and we advise passengers to do the same, while inside the vehicle, to protect our chauffeurs’ health and yours.

Our service vehicles are deep cleaned daily by specialist valet companies using highly regarded products. Each of our vehicles undergo electo static deep clean every 28 days, carried out by an independent party, researched to fight bacteria and viruses. Every touch point and hot spots are cleaned by the chauffeur before and after each journey. Not only our vehicles are treated, our drivers also undertake regular testing and health checks.

Sanitisation

Contactless

Our service is now always contact less. Our chauffeurs will open and close vehicle doors, distribute amenities and handle luggage placement in the vehicle boot. The chauffeur can control the vehicle temperature, change, or adjust the music, or even open the window if you wish. Cash is no longer accepted for payment of journeys

Protection

We are advising passengers to wear a face covering while travelling in our private hire vehicles. Wearing a face covering is optional, as not every disability is visible. If you choose to wear one, it is important to use face coverings properly and wash your hands before putting them on and taking them off, protection is paramount.

Meet and greet 

Chauffeurs will not shake passengers’ hands, and whenever possible, will observe the two metre (6 feet) minimum social distance rule. A gentle nod, a warm hello, and eye contact will suffice for the meet and greet till we move past the virus, we want you to travel in confidence.

Luggage:

Passengers are to place their luggage where it is safe to leave. Then walk towards the vehicle or step away from the luggage by 2 metres, if they are going to follow the chauffeur to the car, at an airport meet and greet, the chauffeur will carry your bags to the car and load them into the boot.

Departure:

We advise that the passenger should step back at least 2 metres and allow the chauffeur to step away from the passenger doors. The chauffeur will direct you when it is safe to climb aboard your vehicle. We have set this guidelines in place following dialogue with all the travel sector key partners. 

Arrival:

On arrival at their destination, the passenger should wait for the chauffeur to open the door. Once the chauffeur is at least 2 metres away, and after they have checked the pavement and road are clear from approaching traffic, they will instruct the passenger to exit the car.
